![]() ![]() When we tested this firsthand, we found both figures to be accurate. The 20-ounce model is designed to keep coffee hot for seven hours and cold for 18. The thermos is available in three sizes: 16, 20, and 24 ounces. If you like sipping hot coffee during your morning drive, walk, or ride, try the Contigo Byron Travel Mug with SnapSeal Technology. There also isn't any indication that this thermos is dishwasher safe, so our tester cleaned it by putting a drop of dish soap inside and rinsing it with hot water.Ĭapacity: 16, 25 and 32 ounces | Dimensions: 2.6 x 2.6 x 10 inches (16-ounce model) | Color Options: No | Warranty: 5-year limited On the other, it's not ideal for commuters, as the lid is not designed to be opened while driving. On one hand, it prevents any leaks, even after we shook the thermos upside down. This holds true for any stainless steel coffee thermos.Īnother observation our tester noted is that the thermos' two-part lid is easy to open and close, but will take longer than thermoses with a one-part lid. Doing this will preheat the material and ensure your coffee stays hot longer. One quick tip: Fill the thermos with hot water for a couple of minutes before your coffee is ready. Both cups of coffee tasted just as good after that time had elapsed, too. Whether it's for yourself or a gift for someone else, this classic thermos gets the job done and looks good doing so.Īfter testing the item firsthand, we found that it lives up to the brand's claim of keeping coffee hot for 12 hours and iced coffee cold for 24 hours. ![]() Combine all three and you get the Thermos Vacuum Insulated Compact Beverage Bottle. The coffee remained suitable to drink, though, which is why we still recommend the item.Īs far as cleaning goes, the opening of the thermos was too small for our tester to clean the inside by hand, but this is a non-issue in most cases because the item is dishwasher safe.Ĭapacity: 0.6, 1, 1.5, 2, and 2.5 quarts | Dimensions: 4.7 x 3.9 x 14.1 inches (1.5-quart model) | Color Options: Yes | Warranty: LifetimeĪ few of the main details we look for in coffee thermoses are convenience, reliability, and affordability. When testing cold drinks, however, we used refrigerated coffee without ice and found that the temperature warmed up slightly over 35 hours. Our testing corroborated the first claim, as we filled the thermos with hot coffee and, 40 hours later, found it still drinkable and warm (note that our tester first rinsed the thermos with nearly boiling water to preheat the material before adding coffee). Note that the 1.5-quart model is too large to fit in a cupholder (which is expected given its large capacity).Īs far as temperature retention goes, Stanley claims that the 1.5-quart model keeps drinks warm for 40 hours and cold for 35 hours without ice. One downside to the lid, however, is that it's not easy to sip from while walking unless you eschew the rubber stopper and only cover the lid with the stainless steel cup. The lid has two parts-a stainless steel cup and plastic stopper-that successfully kept it from leaking during our testing process. We tested the 1.5-quart model and gave it an overall positive review. It's available in five different sizes, starting at less than 1 quart and working up to 2.5 quarts. Plus, it's backed by Stanley's lifetime guarantee. Its durable stainless steel is designed to withstand the wear and tear from all kinds of adventures. A popular thermos, especially for people who love the outdoors, is the Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle.

![]() Integrate email verification into your website Thanks for registering, check your email to complete registration. How to check if an email address exists without sending an email store the email address in the session for use when the verify link is clicked service id of the verification service we created The only dependency we have in our project is the Twilio PHP SDK, which we can install using Composer. I've tried to make this as generic as possible, but if you're using a framework, then you'll want to do this with your controllers and template renderer. I created an incredibly simple HTML form that posts to a PHP script to send our verification email. We're all set up, now we get to write some PHP code to send our verification request and check that it’s correct. The only thing we need to change is right at the bottom of the page, select your Email Integration we created in the last step from the Email Integration drop-down at the bottom of the page, and hit Save. Head over to the Verify Services page of the Twilio Console, and click the big red Create Service Now button, and give it a Friendly Name. To have access to the verify API, we'll need to create a Verify service. Find out more information from the SendGrid documentation. Authenticated Domains are those that you've confirmed you own within the SendGrid system and it shows email systems that SendGrid has permission to be sending emails on your behalf. The email address you use must be from a domain you've authenticated with SendGrid. Name our integration anything, it's a friendly name again, then enter your SendGrid API Key, the Template SID we saved from earlier and an email address and name. Head over to the Email Integration page on the Twilio Console, and click the big red Create Email Integration button. We've got our email template next, we need to link our Twilio Email Verify service to it. Once we've created our template, we'll need the Template SID later to complete the integration, you can find it in the template information. It's really cool.ĭon't forget to set an email subject and name your version using the settings cog on the left-hand side of the page. This is a feature of SendGrid's dynamic templates. The API will automatically replace this with the token before sending the email. Notice how we can use Mustache variables in our template to substitute the auto-generated token in the twilio_code variable. Select the Code Editor and paste the body of our email into the editor on the left. Our template will be in HTML only, but in a production system, we'd also want to create text versions of our email. Click on the newly created template and Add Version then select a Blank Template. We can name our template anything we want it's just a friendly name for us to recognise the template. Head to the Dynamic Templates section of the SendGrid dashboard and click the Create a Dynamic Template button. We'll be using SendGrid to send our verification emails, and Twilio to trigger the verify actions, so before we start we'll need an email template in our SendGrid account that we can use to send out our token. Your SendGrid Account SID in an environment variable. ![]() Your Twilio Account SID and Token in environment variables. It leaves us free to solve our specific business problems and not spend our energy solving problems that we don't need to. Once our user has clicked the link, we can validate the token is correct with another API call. Luckily for us, Twilio Verify now supports email verification so we can send email verification requests complete with an auto-generated token with a single API call to Twilio. But nobody wants to configure and maintain a mail server to send out email verification requests. Creating the forms and handling the data entry is relatively easy in PHP we have libraries and frameworks that can help with these everyday tasks. Typically we'll verify the email address by sending an email to that address with a unique token as a query parameter in a link that the recipient should click. As web developers, we end up creating a ton of login systems, and part of the “create user” flow is invariably verifying that the email address entered by the user is real, and owned by that person. Builds only have a minimum requirement Xcode 8.2.1, so any machine running macOS 10.11.5 or later can make this build. ![]()

You can choose from hundreds of free themes to personalize your messaging experience. It’s a great touch, and something many enjoy. Just like Textra, you can customize the color of notifications for each specific contact, if you want. They explain their app as a souped of version of your stock text and MMS app, and that’s basically what it is. If you like tons of customization with your texting setup, try Chomp. Honestly, it’s probably the only app that truly gives Textra a run for its money. It’s what we recommend the most, and is your best bet if you don’t want to customize everything on Textra. Luckily, it’s already installed on several phones on the market today and it’s full of useful features. Perhaps the best overall text messaging app, or experience, is Google’s own Android Messages app. Otherwise, you’ll have a little ad at the end of your conversation list. ![]() So if you’ve constantly thought you were an A-cup just because you have a modest chest, you might be surprised to find you could actually fit a C-cup size bra. This also means A-cups and D-cups aren’t determined by how large or small one’s breasts are, but how they’re positioned in conjunction with one’s torso. With a bust-to-band difference of 4 inches, that means your ideal bra size would be 30D. To get your cup size, simply subtract the band size from your bust size. For example, if your bust measures 34 inches and your band measures 30, that would be 34-30 = 4. The correct band size is integral to the right bra fit - in fact, it’s responsible for most of the support for your breasts. Often, people underestimate band size and tolerate a tight or larger band, but that can later on contribute to breast pain or your straps digging too harshly into your skin. Think of how you would like the band to fit your ribcage. Again, keep your torso neutral and the tape snug but not too tight. Next, take the measuring tape and wrap it around the underside of your breasts, where your bra band usually sits. Take note of the measurement, because this will determine your cup size. This will ensure that your bra isn’t too tight or too loose. Try to keep your body in a neutral position - neither breathe in nor out. Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest. Here’s what you need to get measurements on: Bust Measurementīust size is the fullest part of your breast, and this is how you get the most accurate cup measurement. ![]() It’s best to do this without a shirt or a bra on for accuracy. ![]() To measure bra size, first you’ll need a soft measuring tape and a mirror. Plus, now you have an excuse to buy yourselves new bras. We’re here to make the process of finding the right supportive bra fun and easy. Two women could have the same bra size, yet fit the same bra differently. ![]() There’s also a ton of little things that go into it, like breast shape, placement, projection, and so on. This is largely due to two things: the fact that bra sizes aren’t static, and that companies have varied sizing methods. As it turns out, most of them are wearing the wrong size. The thing is, you’re not alone.Īccording to this Cosmopolitan article, many women believe themselves to be 34B’s. The telltale signs are there: straps that keep falling off, an ill fit on the loosest hook, unclear bust measurement - the list goes on. Spoiler alert: you might not be wearing the correct size. The band is just right - as long as it’s on the tightest setting, that is. The cups feel a little too big, but it’s better than spilling. You try it on, and after a few minor adjustments, you get it to fit okay. So you shuffle around the underwear section until you find a cute little 34B bra. Imagine you’re going bra shopping, and you’ve always been used to wearing a 34B - not because you’ve measured your chest, but because you have medium-sized breasts. Read on to know how!įirst things first: how do you know if you’re wearing the right bra size?Īs it turns out, there’s more to it than just picking a cup and number according to how large or small you deem your bust to be. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to find the right one. A great bra stays put, has the perfect amount of cup volume, and makes you feel comfortable to wear. It doesn’t leave your ribcage feeling sore or breasts in danger of spilling out. The ideal bra is supportive and comfortable. The misconception has resulted in many women donning ill-fitting bras, causing mild discomfort at best and breast pain at worst. Most women are taught that bra sizes are straightforward: if you’ve got small boobies, then you’re probably an A cup, and the bigger your chest is, the farther up you go in cup size. On the other hand, a badly fitted bra can feel awkward and uncomfortable. It can flatter our figure and give us a boost of confidence. Much like jeans, bras can be tricky, but finding the right one does wonders. |
